No pressure Senior Stuff…

Earlier this week I met with several other photographers to photograph some models… I spent most of my time with one of the soon-to-be-seniors. She was a natural and gorgeous. Towards the end of the evening I got just a moment to photograph her best friend–also going to be a senior.

Here are some of my favorite shots…

Are you going to be a senior, know a senior or have a senior 2010? I’m looking for reps to photograph and spread the word for me this coming year. Contact me for info on discounted services and products if you end up being a rep. I’m targeting the Rockwall, Forney, Royse City, Caddo Mills and Greenville areas… However, if you’re from a surrounding area I didn’t mention, still contact me! I might still be interested.

Ummmm….did you look like that when you were a senior? I sure didn't! I really look like every bit of '98 in my pics…posed by an American flag…sitting on a fake soda shop stool…peeking around a tree trunk…

  2. Jill Cornelius

Nope! I even had the mottled funky colored backdrop in my pics… LOL!

  3. Lynette

Petite Princess is 3 mos. old now!

Earlier this week I went to visit one of my baby planners… She is just a petite little thing. So alert too! She kept watching my camera no matter which direction I turned it. It was so cute! It didn’t take long either and she was zonked out. I love it because we get much more variety when they go on to sleep… I don’t expect it, but it’s such a sweet surprise when they do!

Here is a little bit of our day…

Sunbathing in her teeny tiny bathing suit!

Look at this! She is a super model already…
Couple with mommy…

Then she went to sleep once we swaddled her up…

Love sweet sleeping close-ups…

Pretty in pink with her little poodle.

Sweet mommy kisses!

Thank you girls for having me out… It was good seeing how much she is growing and getting so active! I’ll be in touch when the proofs are ready…

4th of July Fun!

This past weekend was a good one… My first weekend in a while of no shoots and no editing. It’s good to take time off every once in a while! We started our weekend on Friday with the hubby taking the day off–he played golf with a friend, then a date night that evening with fun friends, Saturday was shopping for me with a friend, the evening spent doing 4th of July stuff with more fun friends and then we rounded off the weekend on Sunday with church and one more evening with friends and fireworks. Busy, busy, but always worth it!

I only got my camera out on Saturday evening, but I did document it, so here is a little bit of our fun times.

My trio!
Love all the little people anticipating the show!

This little guy (who isn’t so little) was such a big boy sitting so good in his chair!

My Maddie-Moo!

One of the older girls… Everyone was scared to give me eye contact in fear of not watching their sparklers!

Yes, my husband is crazy! I don’t know how many sparklers he had, but I promise no one was nearby.

Some of the boys waiting for the finale!

I’d say I’d call this weekend a success… Time off with friends and family is always fun! Check back soon, baby planner session tomorrow morning so the sneak peek will be soon to follow.

For the ever so patient bride and groom…

Recently, I photographed my 2nd solo wedding… It was beautiful and so much fun! I really enjoy photographing the weddings… It’s a long day and even longer editing, but to see the final result is so worth it. Well, this bride and groom has been ever so patient for their sneak peek. I should have posted this weeks ago, but I got behind and then with the computer issues it got pushed aside for a little while. Hopefully this abundant sneak peek makes the wait worth their while.

Without further ado..

A couple of swans… This place is really nice. If you’re looking for a wedding venue, email me and I’ll let you know where it is…

A few of the guys before the wedding…

The groom…

Oh and let me explain this one… This is the bride’s brother… They were having a little fun!

Wedding details…

Gosh, there are so many more… I wish I could share them all! Thanks again for the opportunity.

The pics are beautiful, Jill!!! You've got such a great talent. 🙂
Where was the wedding at? The location looks beautiful with that bridge.

This is from Kimberly – I just realized my mom is signed in – I am on her computer. LOL

I am BACK!

Well, the Mac ended up not being as sick as we thought… Thank God! It was just being a little testy and needed some new devices added. Whew! Lot less expensive than we were thinking. I’ve been hard at it today trying to catch up as fast as I can. I have several proofing sessions that need to be completed and several orders to place.

I really appreciate my clients being ever so patient with me… It means so much to have clients that are so understanding when things happen that are out of our control. I’ll be in touch with each of you as I complete your tasks. Hope everyone stays cool and enjoys the rest of your weekend!

I’ll be here at my computer if you need me. :p

Oh and maybe if I get caught up to a good point, I’ll actually post some pics… I just realized my last several posts have been text only. Pics would be nice, huh?

Falling oh so behind…

I’m still in the middle of computer troubles… The Mac actually went down for the count last night. We’re trying to get it up and running, but so far nothing today. We may actually be looking to get another one. It wasn’t exactly on the ‘list’ of need-to-buy, but it’s quickly rising to the top. I hope tomorrow I’ll have a more solid answer.

I also want to thank my current clients for their patience. I’m doing all I can at this point and hope to be back in business sooner than later. I’ve never been this behind before and hope to never be again.

Until next time!

Under the Weather…

So, not only did I bring a little cold home from teaching VBS last week, my computer picked up something also. I know I mentioned recently the issues I’ve been having and it’s now come to a point that I’m going to have to send it away and get it resolved. I was doing all I could to avoid it, but it is really slowing down my workflow–to the point that I have no workflow!

As my wonderful hubby has mentioned, ‘to increase production, your going to have to stop production for a bit’. I hope it is very short-lived because my editing software is only Mac and our other computers are PC’s so while the Mac is down I cannot do any editing.

Thanks for understanding and I’ll update as I can.

Happy Father’s Day!

Just a quick post to wish the fathers in my life a Happy Father’s Day…

My dad, my husband, my brother and my Heavenly Father. Hope today has been a great Father’s Day.

And of course, I can’t post without a few pics… Remember my friend that I photo swapped with back in the early part of the year? Well, we got together for her to return the favor… She photographed me and the little ones for Kev’s Father’s Day gift.

These 3 were my favs!

This one was my absolute fav of the bunch!

Well, better get back to work… I’m so behind it’s not funny. And to my clients that are waiting on proofs–I’m doing my best. Thank you so much for being patient and understanding! Lots of sessions plus computer woes doesn’t make the work flow as fast as I hoped.

Oh and a Happy Father’s Day to my clients… Whether it be your first or not, I hope it’s a great one!

Meet the J Family!

This past weekend (yes, I am behind on my sneak peeks) I met the J family. Mom actually works with some of my past clients and that is how she found me. There was actually one session in particular that she really liked and wanted something just as special for her family.

We were able to capture several moments for them… The kids were very cooperative! They’re actually very close in age to my oldest two. And it definitely doesn’t hurt when the family is as beautiful as this one!

I’m sure you know by now, but it’s a big sneak… I just can’t manage to do less–I love sharing my favs!

Family time…

Daddy Time…

Mommy Time…

Just the kids! LOVE this!

Casual family…

Even a little more casual family…

Hanging out with the old farm stuff…

Just the boy…

Gotta get a walking one!

More family…

Another of the kids… Isn’t this sweet?

Just the girl!

Family by the water…

Little girlie was talking about her favorite princesses here…

Dad and his boy!

Daddy’s girl!–Can you find what’s out of place here? I’ll fix it before it goes to print, but thought it would be funny to leave on the sneak peek!

Mommy and her little girlie-girl!

Mommy and her little man!

Thanks for looking! And thank you J family. I am glad to have met you all and hope you enjoyed your sneak peek. I will be in touch when the proofs are ready!

LoL. I saw your blog on ILP and was checking it out! LOVE the photo where you asked if anything looked out of place. TOO funny! That made me chuckle. Reminds me of my own 2 little boys. I'd love it if you follow my blog as well.

Super Mini-Session!

When Mr. A came to see me a few weeks ago to capture his first birthday, he wasn’t quite so sure of the whole photoshoot thing… He did great, but just no smiles due to a skipped nap! Which is usually what happens on picture day–something out of the ordinary! So we set aside a super mini-session to try to catch some sweet one year old smiles on a day that he had a nap.

And we got them! I thought I’d share a few of my favorites from that session… I’m a little late getting this sneak out, but better late then never!

Thank you for coming to see me again, Mr. A! I knew there were some smiles in there…
