Happy Father’s Day…

Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers out there… Yesterday, this daddy became a father for a 3rd time. They welcomed a new little surprise into their family–a girl! Her big sister and brother are doing an awesome job.

Meet Miss R!

This is her proud brother and sister…

I think this might be my fav!

But I’m lovin’ this little bonnet!

So beautiful…

In daddy’s arms…

The new family!

Mommy’s precious baby girl!

New family portrait! This is where 100 highs come in handy–sleeping baby outside… Perfect!

Adoring their new baby sister…

Aren’t they cute?

Thank you S family! You have a beautiful family and I enjoyed meeting you all… I’ll be in touch soon when your proofs are ready!

Miss G is 3 months!

Here is part 2 of my sneak of a sneak the other day. Miss G was hiding her smiles, but I still think that we got some cute ones of the baby girl. We’re actually going to try some more stuff later this month and time it better…

Here is a sampling of what we got this weekend though!

She’s recently discovered her hands–definitely a common thing at this age!

Oh and this blanket is actually a family hand me down… I hear it was blue, but the years of washing and bleaching turned it white.

She’s got some pretty awesome eyes and lips… Can’t wait to see how more beautiful she grows as the months pass!

And asleep! This is what she wanted to do really and she actually woke up after taking these and wasn’t ready to be awake yet.

So we called it a day and decided to come back again later for more!

Thank you W family! I hope you enjoy your sneak and I can’t wait to see what other goodies we capture…

It was a hot one…

So the other night I posted the sneak of a sneak… Well, here is the rest of our sneak peek. Let me start by saying that it was a hot one–at 9 am too! It’s too bad that the Arboretum doesn’t open earlier (even if it was only open to photographers). But aside from all that, it was a busy time with two toddlers (14 mos and 19 mos) and a 4 yo. Thankfully we were able to distract them just enough to get some goodies!

Here we go… Cousins!

This is Miss I. She loved to explore.

All the cousins!

Mr. G was a great helper…

There’s that brother and sister!

Cutie!

And there’s that other cutie!

Pretty flowers…

Lovin’!

Then a few of Miss S. She stayed a little longer to capture some more cute stuff!

Thanks guys! I’m glad we survived the heat and were able to capture some cute stuff… I’ll be in touch soon when the proofs are ready.

This week…

Quick note… I’m going to be ‘semi’ out of the office this week due to teaching VBS. I’ll answer emails and phone calls as I can, but please be patient while I’m away from the computer. Thanks guys! I’m running a hair behind on proofs too, but I’m whipping them out as I can. Can’t wait to share all the goodies we’ve captured!

Today…

We were on a mission…

We played with the wagon…

We said, “Cheese”!

We played ‘Hide & Seek’…

We explored…

We gave tiny smiles…

And big smiles…

We hung out…

We struck a pose…

And watched the sun set…

All in all a good day! There’s more where those came from, but I thought I’d share a sneak of a sneak… Check back soon!

Wowzers!

So last week, I posted a spur of the moment model search… I have been seeing these wheat fields and kept telling my husband how I would love to do a sunset photoshoot at one of the locations we had seen it at… Well, I almost waited too long because daily after posting my request, I would see field after field harvested. Aack! Thankfully, my hubby found me the last one within 5 minutes of town and we were able to make it happen.

I couldn’t have asked for a prettier model and a more willing one! Several outfit changes, poses, and two locations. Love every single one of these–and there are a ton more!

Meet Miss A. She’s going to be a junior next year!

Thank you A and mom! I enjoyed trying some new things and hope you love your sneak peek!

Mr. D is 3 months old…

And I promise you–he has to have tripled in size! Or at least length. I can’t get over how long her is now. Wow! He was a little trooper… He was so excited, showing up his little voice and then one he was ready for his paci, he just made himself comfy on my blanket and went on to sleep. No coaxing needed.

Check out those chocolate eyes. So dreamy!

Cute little smile…

Remember those lashes?

Haha! He thought his momma was so funny!

See how long he is?

Pbbbttt!

His growth bear… We started to put him on his tummy–like his newborn shot and he was just too big!

A pic for daddy in his army fatiques.

So strong!

He was done with smiling by this point, but we were cracking up at his serious face.

Precious sleeping baby!

And all his tiny baby parts… **Oh and his great-grandma made this outfit for him (if I remember correctly).

Thank you R family! I’m glad things worked out the way they did. Mr. D was great–can’t wait to see him at our next appointment.

And the rest… (Part 2 of 2)!

This is Mr. H’s sister. She was an absolute doll! Her birthday is actually coming up really soon and I can’t believe that she’s only going to be 3. She was very cooperative for her age and also so tall! I couldn’t believe it. I think I made a new friend too! She gave me a hug and a kiss when I was leaving… So sweet!

Here she is!

Isn’t she cute?

She even showed me her room…

Love this next series… I started to turn them into a collage, but I wanted to show them big for now. I think they’d be a great collage!

Aren’t the dimples adorable?!

We went outside for few too…

Lashes… So long!

Last, but not least… Brother and sister!

I love this one!

I think this one is quite the keeper too!

Thank you B siblings! I can’t wait to watch the two of you grow up this next year. Miss S, you’re already a great big sister and Mr. H–you just keep being cute and mellow! I’ll let you know when the rest are ready!

Gonna be a lot… (Part 1 of 2)!

Yesterday, I met Miss S and her baby brother Mr. H. What a sweet little girl and baby brother! We did a combo shoot–her 3 year shoot and his almost 4 month shoot. He’s my latest baby planner (even though they didn’t find me for his newborns), we’re going to pick up here and finish out the year. And snap some of big sis on the way!

Meet Mr. H!

I love this… It’s like he’s saying–“So, you’re the photographer lady… What exactly is it you want me to do?”

Little Faux Hawk…

Little smiles!

Oh Hi!

Ready for the game!

So funny!

Even serious face is cute!

It’s like he’s saying, “You want some of this?” LOL! He really was a sweetie, so I don’t think he’s saying that… He was just so strong and pulled up to sitting all by himself!

So cute!

Blowing bubbles…

Some mommy time!

Mr. H was such a handsome little guy! Mom said he was cutting some teeth, so he wasn’t as smiley as usual, but he still managed to give us some pretty cute smiles and expressions. Up next is his sister and a few of them together, so stay tunes for part 2 of 2.

PRESH! We love them! Sad that he wasn't giving his handsome smiles like he normally does, but we got some great ones. 🙂

Mr. Smiley is ONE!

I met him on Memorial Day of 2009. He started out like this and was the smiliest newborn yet… He even got two blog posts here and here. He continued to be all smiles at his 3 months, 6 months and even 9 months! And here we are a year later almost to the day. My… Where did that first year go?

Mr. Smiley was even smiles in 90+ degree temperatures this past weekend.

Love this next stage–exploring!

There’s that sweet face.

All smiles!

Giddy up…

Does he not look like a little boy? Goodness–so big!

Mom said he loves these chairs… He’s been here before!

Off to explore more things…

He’s ONE!

Cake time…

Thank you L family for braving that crazy hot weather! I can’t believe how high the temp was… Mr. F was a trooper and still gave us that wonderful smile numerous times.
