Twice the FUN!

Saturday I got to drive the country to photograph two beauties on their mommy’s family ranch. It’s always neat seeing new places–and this place was no exception. Lots and lots of acres of growing hay, old barn, ponds, cattle, etc. So pretty too!

Miss A…

Miss M…

Love this series!

These are the ‘Twin’ trees… It’s hard to tell from this picture, but they’re actually connected at the bottom (right where the girls are sitting).

Thank you M family! I think we picked one of the hottest days, but we managed to survive and come out with some great stuff. I hope you enjoy your sneak and I’ll be in touch soon.

Fur Babies!

Yesterday morning I met two four-legged kiddos with their parents for their last session before they become a family of 5. They were on their best behavior! Meet Mr. T and Miss C. She may be small, but she’s the big sister in this family. Believe it or not, he’s only 7 months old! Crazy, huh?! He’ll actually get bigger…

Anyone that has photographed animals knows that they can be a lot like kiddos… They have their old agenda.

But–we still manage to get what we planned on…

And again!

Can you imagine how beautiful this new baby is going to be??

Shots like this always make the best expressions–lots of laughs!

There’s that big sister and brother!

I love this!

Always fun to find gem locations…

Hers!

And His!

Then one for the doggies!

Thank you R family! I hope you had a nice road trip to see your family… The doggies were so good! They’re going to be great at this sibling thing.

Catch him if you can…

Today I met up with a repeat client for this little guys 2 year old session… Hard to believe that I met him when he was only 6 months old and here he is already 2! Mom warned me that I might need my running shoes, but I managed to only have to go after him one time.

I can’t believe his hair! It was not curly at our last session a year ago. Pretty cute, huh?

Knock, knock… Who’s there?

He did his own posing…

Trying to climb the column!

He was trying to get me… LOL!

And he’s off… With his cup in hand. (Side note–these are nonworking tracks, so no worries on trains).
There he goes… This is where I had to kind of catch up with him. He didn’t want to come back!

So we pulled out the wagon! It worked. He wanted to push it though instead of pulling.

His serious face! Ha!

There’s that cute boy!

He was chasing momma with the wagon here. Quite funny!

Yay! A big smile!

Thank you Mr. A! I’m so glad you met me this morning… It was fun seeing how big you’re getting.

Slept like a baby… A Newborn baby.

I have to admit, I was a little worried that today’s session might have more awake time than asleep time… You see, Miss J is already 7 weeks old–she was 4 weeks early though. Well, she was quite the champ actually! She was awake for a little bit when I got there, but we just make ourselves comfy and got to patting and shh’ing. It wasn’t long and she was asleep. The deeper her sleep, the more we were able to do as you will see!

Meet Miss J! **Oh and mom–there’s a few more than just 10! I couldn’t help myself… There were so many cute ones.

Isn’t she pretty?

Little lashes.

Her lovie.

#1 Raiders Fan!

So sweet!

Love that face and lips…

I think this might be my fav though.

She didn’t want to wear the pearls, but she was okay with holding them. 😉

In Daddy’s arms!

A smile for Mommy!

Her precious room…

Love her arm up in the air!

Holding the rings…

Snug as a bug!

Thank you M Family! I enjoyed meeting you all and Miss J was a pro at this picture stuff. She is precious! Congrats again–I look forward to seeing you all at her next session!

    Jill,

I just wanted to come here and say thank you. I know I've always thought our little girl is precious but I feel like you captured her so well and now everyone else can see her the way we do. I cannot wait to have these photos in our home.

Taking a break…

To post some of my girls’ Track and Field Day!

This past Friday was the girls’ Track & Field Day… It turned out to be so much fun! It was a little humid at times and by the end of the day they were exhausted, but they did so good! Daddy had to work, so I was running in between each girls’ events trying to see what I could of each. Thankfully my dad came to help and my mom and brother (and his family) even stopped in for a bit to give their support.

Pre-K’s Awesome Banner!

Maddie-Moo…

Haidy-Hoo running her little heart out. She tied for 1st on this one.

Maddie’s running–she’s like her momma–doesn’t really like to run. She kind of just jogged. LOL!

Haidyn won this one! She told me beforehand that she was the fastest one. So cute!

My beautiful girls!

Maddie and her besties…

Pre-K girls being silly!

3-Legged Race

My Maddie girl getting some air! Too bad this was the practice jump. The next two real ones, she forgot to jump and just ran through the sand. LOL! Silly girl!

All in all the girls did a great job and had a blast. They were definitely tired afterwards.

**Now be sure to scroll down… This is the last one for this evening, but there are several more below that you might have missed if you haven’t visited lately. Oh and leave me a comment… I love to hear what people think!

New Product Alert!! ALPHABET WALLS & BRAG BOOKS

I recently saw these cutest float wraps for rooms and thought that they would be a perfect addition to my product list.

They’re called Alphabet Walls. They’re actually a 10×20 float wrap. In case you don’t know what a float wrap is (it’s basically a standout), you can see an example of one here. They’re really neat!

Then we have the cutest little brag books. They actually come in sets of 3 (which is perfect for giving one to grandparents too!). They’re 3×3 accordian and actually have a magnetic enclosure. Love them!

Front Cover
Inside Front Spread
Inside Back Spread
Back Cover

We can even do these products on past sessions… Just let me know and I’ll help you make the best selections.

**Be sure to scroll down to see the rest of Mr. J’s sneak peek (the adorable baby modeling the Alphabet Walls). There’s also several other new posts from this past weekend–it was a busy one!

Sweet and Simple

That’s what I’d call this session… Not a lot of props, just real simple. I love how they turned out. Mr. J was a sweet little trooper. When I got there he was crashed! Pretty much let me do anything. He did eventually wake up and after a quick feeding he was ready for more, but he was wide awake. So we took the opportunity to get some pics of those pretty blues.

Meet Mr. J! He’s my first little one to have red hair. Oh and how about that dimple?!

Little Bear!

So precious!

Love his little booty in the air…

My fav!

Look at those eyes! So alert!

I think he has momma’s smile. Do you see it?

Lovin’ by Big Sister!

She’s going to be a great big sister… She’s already doing such a great job!

So when I saw the family bed pics with that blank palate above them, I knew what would be perfect for that spot. What do you think? **You’ll have to use your imagination on the bedspread. I didn’t have a white bedding pic.

Thank you C family! You have an adorable family and it was a pleasure meeting you. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek and I’ll be in touch soon.

Party of 5–The Kids…

Yesterday I rounded out my day of sessions with the L Family’s kids… The last time I photographed them, Miss C was only 4 months old–she’s almost 2 now! I do have to give kudos to these kids. They were very well behaved! I brought goodies and gosh, I didn’t even have to break out the bubbles. Baby Sister munched on some marshmallows, but truth be told, they actually were so good!

Meet Big Sister–Miss M, Middle Brother–Mr. L and Little Sister, Miss C…

Aww–smooches for baby sister!

Nana had an idea for an image to match a painting she had picked up and this was my version of it…

This was another version… I should have taken a pic of the actual painting so you could see how wild it is that the children in the painting are so similar to these 3!

Miss M is a great big sister! She was so helpful!

Then Mr. L… He’s grasping this big brother thing pretty well too!

Then baby sister… She is a doll!

Fun on the rock!

Little slide time before we wrapped up our session! Miss C wasn’t so sure of the twisty slide…

Thank you L family! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek and I’ll be in touch soon when the proofs are ready.

So sleepy…

Mr. P had his 3 month session yesterday. Mommy and I had big plans to try to do it outdoors… I’ve never actually done a 3 month old outdoors, but I’ve seen some and thought, why not, let’s be different and do it. Well–Mr. P had other ideas. He was so sleepy! We couldn’t get him to wake up and I think the wind kept taking his little breath away, so we decided to pack up and head to the house for some indoor stuff.

He’s gotten so big! It’s hard to believe he was born 6 weeks early…

We did get a cute basket one of him outdoors… He was checking it out!

Love his little contemplating face…

Ahh, smiling for mommy!

So funny!

He’s a strong boy, huh?!

Laughing!

Thank you F family… I hope Mr. P got his nap out! He must be growing–he was just ready to catch up on his rest.

One More Week and He’s Out of There! Senior 2010!

Today I got to check out a new location and man am I glad we decided on it… What a great place! And quite the handsome young man too… I’m gonna keep the words to a minimum and let the pictures to the talking. Been busy and short on time!

I love it when literally the first picture out of my camera is a keeper!

He’s the 2nd senior I’ve had lately that plays the guitar. Always makes for a fun shoot!

Love this!

My fav–I think! There are so many that I liked actually.

He has a great smile–I think I know were he got it. I’ve seen his momma smile!

Yeah, this one too… Striking eyes!

This place had so many cool doors… Every way you turned was one.

Then a little more formal one for the family.

Thank you guys! I had a blast and hope you love them. I’ll be in touch soon!

    It's actually, Nick's brother's fiance's son. Clear as mud, huh? LOL! So it's Nick's soon-to-be family.
