Beautiful Bride-to-Be…

Today I met up with a beautiful bride-to-be for a really quick bridal session. You see, she’s getting married in two weeks! It’ll be here before we know it.

So, she had seen some images in a Bridal magazine and wanted to recreate them. Well, a little over a year ago I met a great client that had just the place to do the pictures. And thankfully, she was more than willing to let us come out.

Just wait until you see what we got…

NUH-UH-UH!

Sorry–no sneak peek just yet! We can’t do that… Hehe! You’ll have to wait 2 more weeks to see what we got. We can’t go ruining a beautiful surprise for the groom.

Thank you Mrs. S-to-Be! We got some gorgeous stuff and I can’t wait to see what you decide to display at your wedding. And thank you O Family for letting us come out and use your place. We really appreciate it and are even more appreciative of how accomodating you were. Thank you so much!

Pure sweetness…

She is 6 days old and so precious. Sometimes week old babies can be a challenge… They usually hit a growth spurt and would prefer to eat than sleep. Well, Miss P was the exception. She was an awesome model. Slept through almost everything we did, woke once, ate a little and was out again. Then she had some awake time at the end while we did some family pics on their bed. Perfection!

See for yourself…

Isn’t she precious? Thank you S family! I enjoyed our session and hope you enjoy the sneak peek–well, the abundant share of pics (not really a sneak peek). LOL! There were just too many good ones to not share. I’ll be in touch soon.

Oh my gosh, she is absolutely precious! So many unique photos, her parents will have some great keepsakes. 🙂

Jill you have made my sweet grandbaby look even sweeter than she already is. You have such a wonderful talent and gift. And you give such a forever gift to parents to have these beautiful photos when their babies grow up and have lives of their own.

Thank you again for your special touch and attention to my wonderful family.

One of the most fun sessions…

This past weekend, I met up with one of my baby planner’s families for an extended family shoot. We met bright and early at Harry Myers and then headed over to the Arboretum once they were open. Let me tell you, when you’re one person (like me) and you know you have a session coming up with 12 people, you can get a little nervous. Well, this family did everything, but make me nervous. By the end of the session we were cracking up. **I can’t show all of the pics that were making us laugh, but I’ll stick one in there for fun of the ‘boys’.

Check them out!

What a session! It definitely was good that everyone was so much fun–I think by the time we finished temperatures were approaching 100. We were just slightly hot and sweaty by the time it was all over with. Enjoy–I’ll be in touch soon when the rest are ready!

What an adorable family! I love the one of them all holding hands, it's really beautiful! I also love the men wearing the bows, I could see my guys doing something like that. 🙂

Aren't they Kayla? It was so fun. Thank you!

Meet Chelsea… Senior 2011 Rep!

Love, love, love senior sessions! And I love, love, love this location! Chelsea’s sister is actually Mr. H’s mom (from the previous post) and she contacted me when I posted my Senior Rep Ad. She said she knew the perfect person–I have to agree! We braved this crazy heat that we can’t seem to escape lately and spent close to 2 hours shooting. I have to say it was pretty fun!

You might need a drink and a snack for this one… There’s quite a few!

See how much fun we had? Don’t you want to be a rep? You get to do stuff like this, but then you get lots of free stuff! Your only job is to have fun and tell people about me…

Yay Mckinney! Your processing on the vintage vogue one is perfect. Her jacket makes that shot! Love it.

Play Ball!

Can’t you hear the announcer saying that? Right as the ballgame is starting up–pitcher on the mound ready to throw the first pitch…

That’s what comes to mind when I saw this little outfit… Little Slugger!

Love it!

Yum!

So cute!

Little man just learned to sit by himself…

Gotta have a nakey booty pic…

H and Bevo!

All lined up!
What a fun shoot! H was all smiles despite cutting a new tooth. Thanks again!

LOVE them!!! Honestly, I never know how we're going to choose. 🙂

Jill – great work! You got lots of great smiles out of him!

Courtney – I love Houston. His hair is really filling out! I'm with you; there's no way to pick a favorite out of these. But I do think the one of him in the wire basket, grabbing the sides is awesome…all the different textures going on are really cool.

    They turned out fantastic!

On the go…

That’s what this little guy was… On the go! It’s pretty typical for this age–add being a boy to that and yep, we’re going to follow him as opposed to him following us.

If you follow the blog, you might recognize Mr. J… He has been featured on the blog a couple times before as a newborn and a 6 month old. I used to work with his mommy, gosh, only about umpteen years ago. LOL!

I did get him to sit for me… Look at his sweet face!

So cute! Little man sitting like such a big boy…

Love, love this… The location, the sun flare, the colors, everything! I would order this one BIG!

You really never know what to expect from an almost 18 month old… 😉

Whatcha lookin’ at?

Poor bub was pretty hot. Love his lashes and sweet pouty lips!

The fam!

Close-up…

Fun with dad…

Mommy & Me!

Thank you B Family! We actually survived the 105 temps… Too bad we didn’t go ahead and cool off in the spray park–I think I could’ve used it!

“You are my sunshine…”

“My only sunshine.” LOL! Sorry… Just had to! I thought it went with the ‘tone’ of the next set of pics I was going to share.

My kiddos… My little sunshine rays of light…

My kids are definitely PKs (Photographer’s Kids)… They’re probably the least photographed kids by me and they give me about 15 minutes tops! Thankfully daddy is always there to make a crazy face to get good smiles.

Well, I better get back to work… Just took a little bit of time to capture the little ones tonight–they enjoyed their reward of snow cones or ‘ice’ cones as Caleb calls them. I can’t believe summer is coming to an end. Sniff, sniff! I’m past ready to be done with this heat–goodness–it’s unbearable!

Not much longer…

This beautiful momma is nearing the end of this pregnancy… In just a matter of time she’ll be holding a new baby boy. He’ll be the baby brother to a big sister and big brother–and I’m betting they’ll be great older siblings from the sounds of it.

We ventured out to Mr’s C’s in-law’s place to take some maternity pictures. They actually own Occasions at Stone River in Royse City, which I thought would be the perfect backdrop for an evening maternity shoot.

Well, here, you can just see for yourself…

Thank you Mrs. C for letting me drag you around for over an hour changing clothes and posing for me. I enjoyed it and I hope you enjoy your sneak peek.

**Be sure to scroll down to see a couple more new sneak peeks from this week!

I absolutely love the one of her sitting on the stool, wearing the tank top. Simple and beautiful! So many good ones though.

Handsome at only 17 days old…

Meet Mr. J! His mommy works with several of my clients and they sent her my way. Thank you girls! He was such a good baby–it took just a little bit to get him to sleep and then once he was out, he was good and asleep. It was so cute because any time I moved him from one spot to another, he would just wimper a little and then settle right back to sleep with a little patting and shh’ing.

Here he is…

Look at the chub on his little fingers already!

Perfect lips…

Little Man!

A new basket I picked up…

Perfect profile!

Love it!

Love this blue…

In Daddy’s arms…

Gorgeous momma!

The new family…

Bright-eyed baby…

What a precious baby boy! I enjoyed meeting you all and will be in touch soon when your proofs are ready.
