Sitting tall…

6 months can be such a fun stage to photograph… They’re more likely to smile and they can sit, but the most important–they’re not mobile. LOL! You can plop them here and there and they don’t go anywhere.

This is Mr. J–he’s a baby planner, so I’m sure you’ll recognize his face. Or his eyes–they’re a gorgeous blue!

The whole family…

Big sister…

Daddy with the kiddos…

Not only sitting tall, but standing tall. Love his expression!

Flying with mommy.

Momma’s boy!

See–look at him sitting all big!

Love the sweater vest!

Love me some baby thighs!

The Horn fans!

Growth item!

All done…

Thank you S family! And a special thanks to Mr. J’s Missy–she was the life of the shoot… Keeping Mr. J smiling and looking my way. I think I might hire her for all my baby shoots! 😉

Miracle baby is on the move…

I’m sure you’ll recognize this little guy… He was the Miracle baby I posted a year ago and then about 6 months ago… The one that was born at 24 weeks. Well, he is on the move now and oh so busy! He was so cute… It was neat to see how independent he is after being so dependent for that first year of life! Definitely shows the fighter that he was/is…

Look at him go…

I love his serious eye contact…

Little break to play on the horse!

See, another one of those serious eye contact looks… Love it.

How funny is this? He did this all on his own!

Some smiles!

On the move again…

He was just soaking in all the new stuff. He loved it!

Fun in the grass…

Yea! All done…

Thank you Mr. D! I can’t believe how big you’ve gotten…

Bubbly little girls…

Earlier this week, I got to visit two very happy, little bubbly girls! They were so smiley and cute… And might I add, gorgeous eyes!

We did a little bit with baby sister to signify her being 3 months, then some sister shots and some of big sister by herself. Then we rounded off our session with some family stuff.

Here’s a sampling of our day!

So happy!

Love this one!

Sisters by chance, friends for life!

Such a silly girl!

Precious…

Family time!

Thank you C family for having me out… I hope you enjoy your sneak peek–you have beautiful girls!

It’s a good one…

Whew–finally, done with the sneak peeks from this weekend! I love doing sneak peeks though… They’re short, sweet and my favorites usually! And my last session of the weekend was no exception… Beautiful senior, beautiful ranch and beautiful horses. I’m sure you remember my senior I had a few months ago with the horse, well, this is one of her fellow cutting competition riders. Which is quite a small world that she found me because her dad and my sister’s boyfriend happen to be good friends–known each other for quite some time. Conversation came up about the other senior I did, my sister mentioned that I was her sister and here are we. Make sense? LOL!

Either way, I’m glad to have met this family… Very sweet family and loved their ranch! Amazing how beautiful the land is the further east you go…

This is Bubba… Isn’t he stunning?!

A little sunflare on these next two for a fun effect.

Such a lovable horse!

I thought the colors in this one were so great!

Fun in the grass!

Thank you P family for having me out! I enjoyed my visit and I hope you enjoy your sneak peek. I also have to give props to the chef–not only did this family have me out to their beautiful ranch to photograph their beautiful daughter, they fed me some scrumptious steak. Yum! So good.

**Okay, so that is post #6 for the 6 shoots I did this weekend… Be sure to scroll back through if you hadn’t seen them all! You don’t want to miss them…

Great photos! I laughed when I saw the one of her in the grass. It's amazing that it's November, and we still have beautiful green grass.

For the cows…

See, the fun thing about my job is that not only do I get to photograph babies, toddlers, families, seniors, etc.–I get to drive out to the beautiful countryside and photograph animals. I’ve always been an animal person, especially the large ones, so give me an opportunity like this and I’ll be right there!

Now, I do have to admit, I don’t know really much of anything about cows, but I do know that they are beautiful creatures too!

Thank you M family for inviting me out to your little bit of country… Can’t wait to meet the rest of your herd!

**Don’t forget to keep scrolling–I had more shoots this weekend than ever before, so there are a lot of sneaks… One more to go too! Hopefully I’ll get it up tonight.

Love this fun family!

I’m sure you’ll recognize this family… Their beautiful family graced the blog back in the spring and then just recently for the two little ones’ birthday party. Mom and I decided that we’re pretty much living parallel lives with our little boys that are too busy to be photographed, but I think her little man did quite well.

Momma M, I think you will be pleasantly surprised at what we got…

Found a new little pocket… So glad I got a glimpse of it as I was driving to our session!

The kids!

The boys…

Girls!

Love this one!

Love this one too–I don’t think I can pick a fav family one actually!

All Boy!

Baby Girl…

The best big sister!

Fun with mom…

The end!
Thank you M Family for meeting bright and early this past weekend… I hope you love your sneak peek! Be sure to be checking out the holiday designs and I’ll let you know when the rest are ready…

**Be sure to scroll down–lots of posts recently and still more to come! Busy, busy, busy weekend.

Traditional Christmas at the Victorian House

Saturday also included a trip to Kaufman to The Victorian House for a shoot with a sweet baby planner’s family and their extended family. They wanted to get some shots of everyone for a surprise! I made sure the person that this is for will not be seeing our sneak peek though–so we’re all good to share a little bit of our visit!

I love the traditional Christmas plaid for the color along with the parents black. Perfect!

Okay, I know dad’s face is hidden behind baby’s hat, but I still thought this was a cute shot–I love the closeness with everyone touching each other. Baby must have moved at the last moment, but I’m gonna try to do a little head swapping later!

One brother and his family…

The other brother and his family…

All the kiddos…

The dads and the little ones!

Inside with everyone…

Baby girl was just tuckered out… So sweet!

Little loving by the big cousins.

Thank you C family! I can’t wait to create your surprise for you… I’ll let you know soon when your proofs are ready so you can pic your favorites.

Lots of pics for a birthday boy and his family…

Yesterday also included one of my families that I’ve been photographing for several seasons now… Such a sweet family!

Let me go ahead and warn you, but this is a BIG sneak–a thank you to the parents and then a special birthday wish to Mr. E!

Here you go…
I love sister peeking out behind the pole here!

Their first Christmas in their new home.

See… Brothers and sisters do really love each other!

We had to do this shot–it’s a repeat from last year… Always good to see how much they’ve grown!

Mr. Cat liked getting our shots… I got a hilarious one of him climbing the front porch pole–Maybe I’ll add it later if I get a chance!

Pretty girl with her long lashes!

Such a big man!

And one funny one to end it with… Gotta love your sister–especially when she sticks her finger in your ear!

Thank you again S family! I hope you enjoy your sneak and I’ll let you know when the rest are ready! Have a great birthday party today Mr. E!

Family-to-be!

Today kicked off my busiest weekend ever with shoots… My first family of the day is actually a sweet friend that of mine that I’m sure you’ll recognize. We’ve known each other since we were pregnant with our kiddos (her 1st, my 2nd) and they’ll be 5 in a few months. It still seems like yesterday that we were comparing bellies and talking about newborn stuff.

Ms. B and her boy will soon be accompanied by Mr. A. Yep, that’s right… They’re getting married soon!

Here is just a sampling of what we did this morning… It was so hard to not share too many–I want to keep most of them a surprise for future use, so you’ll just have to keep a watch and maybe I’ll share more after the first of the year.

Love the boots!

All Boy!

I thought this was cute–little guy peeking in on mommy!

So fun!

Thank you guys! I had a blast this morning and hope you did too–even if it was a tad chilly… There’s many more, but I wanted to keep most of them a secret for you!

**Oh and just a little note… This location isn’t for public use–this was a special situation that I worked out with the owners. You’ve probably seen me use it in the past and you’ll see it again when I do the owners’ sneak peek. Thank you S family again for letting us use it! It worked out great and I appreciate you guys.

Whirlwind…

If I had to describe my life right now in one word, I think that’s what it would be… Whirlwind!

And this picture pretty much sums it up…

Hubby and I are doing our best while the little ones just run circles around us–oh and yes, I am missing a child. That’s pretty much him right now… Not wanting to have a thing to do with the camera. So strange after how much he loved the camera. Always cheesing it up, but lately, nada, nope, not gonna happen. Hopefully it’s a phase that doesn’t last long.

I thought I’d post a little update… Things are going really well on the homefront. I’m in the midst of my busiest season of my busiest year. I am thankful to all my clients for getting me to this stage. I love it… It’s a sacrifice in many ways, but so worth it in all the other ways. The girls are doing really well in school… Maddie has made some much needed improvements in 2nd grade. Then Haidyn just continues to shine in Pre-K. They’re both loving school. Caleb is also doing well in Mother’s Day Out. We had sort of a rough patch in the beginning, but now he goes with ease and enjoys it.

The hubby and I are doing our jobs and then trying to concentrate on ‘us’ at the same time. We took a much needed weekend trip this weekend with some good friends of ours and had a great time. I think at times I felt like I was young again! Not a mom of 3 that works from home. I’m sure we all need that every once in a while.

Well, I hope everyone is doing well and I will be back later with lot of sneaks. I have so many shoots this coming month. I can’t believe it. You all make this possible and I love it.

Yay, you got this shot. Awesome.

  2. Jill Cornelius

Well, sort of… I'm trying to figure out if I can clone Caleb in from another shot where he's running off! LOL!
