Meet Miss S…

My new niece… She is welcomed by a big brother who turned two literally a week after she was born. She tried to give us a run for our money and wanted to just stay awake, but we outlasted her. 😉 Aunt Jill is pretty persistent and not willing to give up my track record of getting all babies to sleep for my sessions.

Proud big brother…

Isn’t she sweet? Congrats C family! Thank you for having me capture her as a newborn…

All these one year olds…

Another wave of baby planners are graduating. It’s just surreal to me that they’re already one. I can still picture them at their newborn sessions, all tiny and curled up.

I met up with Mr. D the other day for a few outdoors shots and then some stuff back at his house. He was getting over a double ear infection and teething at the same time, so he wasn’t quite himself, but we still managed to get some cute stuff.

Sliding…

His mommy said he loves to read! She’s a teacher, so I’m guessing that comes natural.

Jammin’ out!

Then we topped it off with a cake smash!
Thank you R family! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek. I’ll be in touch soon!

A beautiful baby in a beautiful park…

And she’s turning ONE! How can that be? It seems like just yesterday that I met her and her family for the first time. We chose the Arboretum for her session since it was perfect timing with Dallas Blooms. Let me say–it’s already beautiful there! I’m ashamed at my yard after seeing what is actually blooming right now. LOL!

Here is Miss R! She’ll be ONE early April!

Love those legs!

Perfect profile and check out her lashes!

Cake time…

Thank you Miss R for coming to see me at the park. It was a beautiful day! And R’s mommy… I’ll be in touch as soon as they’re ready so that we can get some ordered for her big day! Thank you!

A life-time baby planner…

My first session with this new baby planner will take place in late September/early October.

Meet the newest member of the Cornelius family…

We were planning on telling everyone in about a week or so, but we’ve figured out that the biggest, big sister wasn’t able to keep the secret any longer. So rather everyone find out through the grapevine, we’re going to go ahead and make it public. So far everything is going well. We go back for more pictures on Friday and I’ll try to share since it should be an easier picture to see. I’m having some fairly awful all day sickness, but I’m managing as well as I can. Let’s just say that I’ll be jumping for joy when I enter the next trimester and this stuff ends!

My business will continue on as planned. As delivery time approaches, I’ll be contacting my baby planners to keep them on schedule as well as possible. Then hopefully I’ll pick back up where I left off with minimal time off.

We’re excited to step into this next adventure and welcome any and all prayers!

I hope it flies…

Meet the B Family… They are good friends of one of my friends. Dad is leaving soon to go across seas, so they wanted to capture the family to create some lasting memories for him to take with him. They were a precious family and I hope this next year flies for them!

I hope you all enjoyed the rest of your day as a family… And that you enjoy this next month even more and cherish that time together. I’ll be in touch when the proofs are ready!

Miss A was a dream…

Miss A wrapped up my baby girl newborn shooting-a-palooza… And she did just as sweet, precious and good as the others. What a way to end the last one!

Meet Miss A!

Her handmade quilt… So pretty!

Love her squishy face!

Loved so much by these two…
I hope you enjoy your sneak peek O Family… Miss A is a doll–you two did a good job. 😉 I can’t wait to watch her grow up over this next year.

Another beautiful baby girl…

It’s always an honor when someone chooses me to photograph their newborn baby… It’s even a bigger honor when they contact me to take baby brother/sister’s pictures too when they’re born. It’s just confirmation that what I did the first time for their first child was what they wanted and now they want the same thing for their next child. So thank you! That’s the story behind this next baby girl… A little over a year and a half ago, I met her big sister and this past weekend I came back to meet baby sister. She was actually 2 weeks old for our session and she rocked it! I think mom was a little leery since I always warn moms that I’ll do what I can, but sometimes it’s easier when they’re younger–well, not the case with Miss K. She was a pro!

I’m still in awe that big sister was this size not too long ago the first time I met her! And now she has a baby sister… Wow!

Thank you K family–I really do cherish the opportunity to take these portraits for you and I hope you love them as much as I enjoyed taking them. It was great seeing you all again too!

Mr. P is One… And oh so fun!

This past weekend I met up with Mr. P for his one year session… We started at Chestnut Square in McKinney for some outdoor stuff and then finished up at his house for some studio stuff and the cake smash. He was all smiles! So cute… I can’t believe that I met him a year ago already and he was a preemie even. Doesn’t look like much of a preemie anymore, huh?

Peek-a-boo!

I can’t get over how big he looks–love his serious expression!

There’s that serious face again.

And cake time!

What a fun session! Mr. P, you have grown so much in this last year… I can’t believe you’re one now. I look forward to our next session in the spring! I’m sure we’ll be chasing you at that session.

Little Pretty Thing…

Another doll baby today… Lovin’ it! Meet Miss B. She is a teeny thing with long legs and arms. But the best part is all her hair. She had so much and it’s even long in the back. How fun is that to have a baby girl with hair ready for bows?

She was wide awake when I got there…

But then we got a big yawn…

And then it wasn’t long and she was fast asleep (with a little coaxing).

A mother’s love for her new baby…

So sweet!

Thank you Miss J for having me out. I enjoyed meeting you and baby girl B. She was so sweet and I enjoyed working with you two.

One week old…

Today I met the first of several baby girls I’m going to be photographing between now and Monday. She was an absolute doll and I could have just held her all day. I love being given the opportunity to capture these moments of a newborn… Something where the parents can look back and see just how tiny their baby was, just how much hair they had, just how amazing creation is…

Meet Miss S.

Isn’t she a doll? Thank you G family for having me out. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek and I’ll be in touch when the rest are ready.
