She is so loved…

Miss W is 9 months old now and oh so loved! You might remember her from a while back at her newborn session–she is the 1st baby girl in her family in a really long time… She has two great big brothers that will do anything to make her laugh and smile. And don’t forget about her parents–she’s a daddy’s girl and loves her momma! We did a few shots outdoor and then came inside for a little studio session. Big thanks to her neighbor for letting us use her beautiful backyard. Oh and an even cooler thing about the neighbor–she made Miss W’s first outfit that she’s wearing. So cute–love the colors!

What a fun session with a precious baby girl! Thank you N family for being patient for your sneak peek. I hope you enjoy it!

Soo cute! I want a neighbor like that! 😉

What a cutie. I am your mom’s friend Carlene, here in Washington. We play cards together and are good friends and share things like the grandbabies. Tomorrow I will have my 6th GREAT grandbaby, a little girl who will be named Jessi. Can hardly wait. She will have a BIG brother too but he is only 14 months old. My grandaughter is going to have her hands full. Thank you for sharing. Carlene

She can’t help being beautiful since she has not one but two handsome big brothers.

P.S. Grandma and Grandpa Cooley are beautiful people too.

The W’s…

Another one of my long time families! We haven’t done family pics since the little guy was about 6 months old–so it was time. 😉 You might recognize the little ones from the opening slideshow of my website. Plus they’ve been on the blog numerous times since then. Mr. Man is now 3 and big sis is 7! Wow! Where does the time go?

A special one of the little guy… He LOVES orange… He loves to wear it, eat it, etc. He even had a pack of orange gum in his back pocket… So we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to get an orange door pic of him!

Thank you W family! It might have been hot, but we rocked through the session getting some great stuff. I hope you enjoy the sneak peek! **And everyone else… Let them know you saw their sneak peek too and what you think–send them some love!

Wuvable, Wittle, Mr. W!

Well, he’s actually gotten so big since his newborn shoot, but he’s still considered a little guy! He’s now 6 months old and sitting like a pro… His big sisters love him so much and it shows. It was pretty cute to see him look at them too. He loved playing with their hair!

We did all this plus even more great ones in less than an hour! Now that’s what I call a fun, easy session… Loved seeing you all and can’t wait to see Mr. W at his 9 month. I’m sure it’ll be just as fun!

Long time family friends…

It’s been probably 15 years since I’ve really seen this family–if not longer. I’ve known them a lot longer than that because their oldest son played baseball (and tball) with my brother. We met up at the Waterfalls and it was beautiful. Everything was so green, falls were flowing from the recent rain and their was even a huge wildflower patch that we got to use.

It was great seeing you again K family… You all have a beautiful family! I’ll be in touch soon when the proofs are ready.

Drum roll please…

Hear ye, hear ye. May I have your attention? I have an announcement to make… I have a huge sneak peek coming up–probably bigger than I’ve ever done! And it’s dedicated to my sister-in-law and her family for waiting for over a week for their sneak peek. My schedule has been hectic to say the least with being pregnant, running my own business, two kids in sports, etc. and well, sometimes family gets the short end of the stick on that deal. So, to make up for it, I have a BIG sneak peek for them! Yay! I have to admit–I was a little worried to look at what I got–I am my worst critic and after I saw that I shot 3 x’s as many images as I normally do, I was worried. LOL! Worried that with 3 three year olds that I overshot in hopes of getting at least something and worried that I would have to look through that many images to pick out my favs during a very busy season. Well, low and behold–I had nothing to worry about! So many great images and I’ll be honest… For this sneak peek there are no head swaps! These are au naturel plus some editing! Woo-hoo!

On to the sneak peek…

These next few definitely portrays life with triplets!

Triple the love…

Aren’t they getting so big? Hard to believe that they each started out under 5 lbs. a piece–Mr. T is just about the same size as my little guy and he’s months older. I have to say this was a fun session! We all enjoyed ourselves, big thanks to my hubby for being my helper and Mexican food for dinner for all afterwards… Now that’s how you end a successful shoot!

Oh my word…

What a precious little boy Mr. J is turning into! So smiley, laid back and just a chill little guy… I’m so glad that he’s one of my baby planners–I can’t wait to see him again in a few months! We did this session at The Dallas Arboretum. It’s really a great place… Great landscaping (that they’re constantly updating) and great architecture. It’s a place that will work for girls, boys, families, etc. So many options!

Check out this little guy!

Isn’t he fun? Mr. J–it was so good to see you and your mommy. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Big brown eyes…

Mr. J has some of the sweetest, big brown eyes… We missed his 6 month session and now he’s almost 9 months old! Good thing about this is that we’ll get to see him one one more time after his one year session. Yay! He was fast asleep when he arrived, but it didn’t take long and he was a smiley little guy.

I had a great time with you Mr. J! You’re growing up so fast from that tiny little 4 weeker I photographed the first time I met you. Can’t wait until our next session!

Tiny little peanut…

Just wait until you see this tiny little peanut. She was so petite. And precious. Like all newborns! I kind of went overboard preparing the sneak peek, so hopefully you don’t mind. Oh and if you’re a fan of JC-Originals on Facebook, you already know this, but I’m telling you… Pregnancy brain has hit and it’s hit hard! I got all the way to this shoot and realized that I forgot my most valuable newborn prop–my beanbag! I was too short on time and too far from a Target to get one. Well, let’s just say that I scored big when I realized the owners had two dogs and doggie beds. Perfect! Doggie beds combined with my beanbag, covered with a blanket and voila–it’s practically a beanbag! Yay! So on to the pictures…

Meet Miss G and her loving parents…

Thank you H family for having me out. Miss G was the perfect little model and I enjoyed every minute of it. I hope you love your sneak peek and I’ll be in touch soon when the proofs are ready!

A little help goes a long way…

Yesterday I met up with a beautiful bride… Cannot wait to share some of the shots we got! We went to a great Ranch just South East of Terrell–you’ve probably seen it if you follow the blog. I always enjoy going there, the owners are more than helpful and the place is just beautiful. They’ve even opened up their ranch for shoots, so just let me know if you want to use that location!

So, while I’m not ready to show the sneak peek from last night, I have to show my helper/prop girl… She was such a big help!

I’ll be back soon with more sneak peeks… I have a family of 5 coming up (my triplet nephew and nieces, a tiny little peanut newborn and then possibly the bridal–we may have to wait on that one to keep it all a surprise!

Pretty in Pink!

Recently, a fellow photographer asked me to take some pics of her… Always honored when another photog wants you to do work for them. We work in a very saturated market and there are a lot of us to choose from. Well–she is also expecting! The day of our session, she found out that they are expecting a baby girl. So she had some great ideas to play up the pink!

Fun times! I’m totally borrowing the silly string idea when I do maternity pics this time… So cute! Love the balloons too!
