Happy Mother’s Day!

One of the best things about this job is that I get to meet moms of all types… First time moms, second time moms and moms of many! Today we celebrate those moms… I wish all of you mom’s–new, long-time mom, mom of one, mom of many–the Happiest of happy Mother’s Days!

Yesterday’s mom is a 2nd time mom… They recently welcomed a baby girl into their family–big brother is a pro already! Meet Baby A… You might recognize her brother–he’s been on the blog before a couple times. And we’ll get to see Miss A a couple more times this year since she’s my newest baby planner.

Congrats G family! Miss A is precious and Mr. E is already doing such a great job at being a big brother. Thank you for letting me come out and capture this in portraits for you!

Baby E at 3 weeks old…

Yesterday I got to meet a precious baby girl. Mom didn’t find me until baby girl was almost 3 weeks old, but I assured her that we would still get some of those sleepy shots–we might just have to work a little harder for it. Let me just say that baby girl didn’t disappoint! She had a little awake time, but before then and after that, we rocked out the curled up, sleeping baby pics–she was a pro!

What a sweetie, huh? Thank you M family for selecting me to capture this precious newborn stage. While the nights may be sleepless and the days be long, the innocence of a newborn doesn’t last for long… I hope I’m able to preserve these memories for you in portraits.

Baby brother is getting so big…

Earlier this week I got to see Mr. J’s baby brother–it was time for the next session in his baby plan. He’s already 3 months old! Mr. J was quite the ham and baby brother, Mr. R was so mellow and laid back. I’d say that complement each other quite well!

We’ll start with Mr. R since it’s his time to shine as a baby planner!

Some mommy time…

Big brother’s turn!

Best friends in the making…

Mr. J–great job on being a big brother. Mr. R–can’t wait until your next session!

All the pretty babies…

Come to me! I’m telling you… I do–I get all the pretty (and handsome) babies. It’s such a blessing too because I love capturing these moments for families and what better to do than with pretty babies! Miss L is no exception… Her eyes, her mouth, all so perfect! Daddy, you better be prepared for the boys to come knocking one day…

Sorry for the over-abundance of pictures… I tried to narrow it down, but it’s always so hard!

Another gorgeous baby girl…

Miss TK!  She turned 4 months old recently, so it was time for the next session on her baby plan.  Baby girl was so good–especially considering she had just been diagnosed with the start of an ear infection.  BTDT that my kiddos–it’s not fun, but she really was quite the happy camper despite the circumstances.

Thank you Miss TK and family! I hope she’s doing better and was able to take a good nap once we left.

Mr. B, Mr. B!

Oh Mr. B… I’m a little behind on your sneak peek, but hopefully you understand! We had such a good time and then I got busy with life and other sessions–I promise I didn’t forget about you! Seriously, though! Mr. B–it was so fun seeing you the other day. I can’t believe you’re already one! Where did this last year go? You kept us busy for your session, but I’ve got lots of surprises for mommy! We captured some great stuff–exactly what I strive for…

Here are some of my favs…

And we’re done!

What a fun and busy session! We had fun though… Next time, Mr. B–bring your big sis. We’ll all have fun and play together!

Pretty little thing…

I just love baby plans…  It means I get to see all my babies again and again as they grow up their first year.  Miss C is celebrating 6 months of life and we decided to do her session at the Dallas Arboretum.  It really is a great place for pictures–great landscaping and architecture.  We got a good combination of settings for her session too!

Isn’t she a pretty little thing? It was fun seeing you again Miss C… Can’t believe 6 months have already passed! I’ll see you soon.

A year later…

I first met Miss J when she was just a itty bitty newborn… Well, now she’s ONE! I have to say, she has some of the prettiest eyes and lashes. They’re an ice blue when you look at them. And she was full of smiles–ready to do whatever we wanted!

There’s those eyes!

Love this series!

Look at her on her little tippy toes…

Thank you M family for meeting up with me this morning. It was a beautiful day and Miss J was such a good little model!

    Thank you Felicia!

And that you so much Jill! You got these up so fast! I can tell that we are going to have a tough time choosing our favorites once again. I have about 5 favorites already. 🙂 I look forward to seeing the rest.

It was great seeing you. Take care!

Mr. H

Mr. H and I met up recently to catch up on his baby plan… You see–he’s already 3 months old! I’m not even his momma and that flew by! Mr. H had an eventful night the night before, but was still a smiley boy. He lives in one of the areas that was hit really hard by that storm we had last Monday. I think they had 100+ mph winds that they’re saying was an unconfirmed tornado. Their neighborhood was absolutely shocking to see… Thankfully (besides their tree and fence) their house received minimal damage.

Here is Mr. H–growing up before our very eyes!

Love this!

Isn’t it cute when they stick their little tongues out?

“No more pics, please!” :-p

What a fun session! Can’t wait until his next session–he’ll be sitting by then!

A day at the park…

The first time I met this little one was almost exactly a year ago. We met at the Dallas Arboretum and decided to go back there this year too. She’s now 18 mos. old and quite the little girl. Busy, adventurous and quite the cutie!
