The weather outside was frightful…

But you wouldn’t even know by the looks of the memories we created–they’re quite delightful! Hehe… Yep, I’m not much of a poetic writer, but it sounded good when I was thinking of a title! Truth be told, within minutes of starting our session, it was pouring. Complete downpour and we were losing light fast with this being an afternoon/evening session, but thankfully the rain was short lived and I was able to bump up my settings to compensate for the darkness. Yay!

Thank you G Family for meeting me and sticking with it through the wild weather… Hopefully I was able to surprise you!

She’s ONE!

Miss K is one, but still so petite. Loved seeing her walking around everywhere… She would do this little scrunched up face and then smile. So adorable!

Thank you Miss K for coming to see me! I enjoyed seeing you and getting to play with you!

I can’t ever help myself…

When I photograph the L Family, I can never narrow down my favorites… I’m sure some of it is due to the fact that Mrs. L is one of my closest friends from forever ago, but the biggest fact is due to how gorgeous the whole family is! Who can resist those sweet boys’ faces? Not me, that’s for sure!

Thank you L Family for trusting my judgment and driving to downtown! I think the drive was worth it!

It’s Fall here in Texas…

I met up with the G Family for Miss A’s next session in her baby plan… We included the entire family too! After all this crazy, hot weather we had a chilly, windy day–who would have thought!

Thank you G family! I always enjoy meeting up with your family!

He was a busy boy!

Mr. W–wow, we’ve come to the end of your baby plan… Seems like just yesterday that I met you. You’ve grown into an adorable little guy with the most squeezable legs. You kept your momma and myself busy at this session… You just wanted to explore and be such the big boy that you’re turning into!

Hope to see you again soon, Mr. W! And those pretty sisters of yours!

They all have the eyes…

Those piercing blue eyes on Mr. R, Mr., J and Miss L… So gorgeous! Mr. R was Mr. Serious for this session, but he’s still quite the cutie!

Stay tuned for another peek of Mr. R and his siblings… We’re going to sneak in another session to see if he’s a little more smiley!

Miss A’s trip to the park…

Recently it was time for Miss A’s 8 month session and we decided to meet at the Dallas Arboretum. It’s fall time, so the place is covered in pumpkins, mums and fall colors. So pretty! I still am amazed every time I see a baby planner–they grow so much in those 3-4 months between sessions.

Thank you Miss A! I enjoyed seeing you again and can’t wait until our next session–you’ll be ONE!

Petite Little Peanut!

Yesterday I got to meet this little peanut. Miss S! She was so sweet… Once we got her to sleep, that’s what she did. No fussing, no moving around, she was crashed! Love it.

Isn’t she precious? I enjoyed meeting you all, T Family! I look forward to capturing Miss S over this first year.

Almost 3 weeks old…

And Miss L was a pro! Such a pleasant session… She was happy and awake when we started and eventually drifted off to sleep for the rest of her session. She was my first session back to work and I couldn’t have asked for a better session to start back with!

Congrats, B Family on your baby girl! She is precious and has a pretty great big brother!

Introducing… #4!

Jude Lane entered the world on September 20th at 4:18 pm weighing 6 lbs. 12 oz. and was 19 in. long. Almost a full lb. smaller than his big brother! I have to say he was probably my easiest labor–shortest and not to mention that he was out within 3 contractions. Much to our surprise though he was rushed away to the NICU within 5 hours of birth due to high bilirubin levels. A sure-tell clue that he has what big sister, Maddie has–Thalassemia Minor. We spent the next 8 days in the NICU where he received fluids, phototherapy and eventually a transfusion on day 7. We’ve been home for a few days now and we couldn’t be happier. His jaundice is just about gone (on it’s own–no phototherapy since Tuesday). We will have to continue to monitor his blood levels from the Thalassemia and it’s possible he’ll require another transfusion or two, but he’s a strong little guy and going to be just fine!

Already working that bottom lip!

We are just overjoyed with him and love every thing about him! This was our first of many sessions–can’t wait until the next–I have so many ideas!
