Couldn’t have asked for a better session…

So I hear! Would you believe that I’ve taken pics in the bluebonnets once (that includes for my kids and clients) up until today. I decided that we would try to capture some since they’re so pretty this year. We literally ran down the street from our house and spent just a little bit snapping some. I have to say, I love how they turned out! And so glad we got them because within 10-15 minutes of coming home it was raining.
Doing these pics makes me anxious for a bluebonnet day of mini sessions… Next year for sure!
These two were so cute! Their grandparents had brought over some rabbits from their farm and we got to use them in the shoot. Big brother was trying to be shy, but we managed to get some sillies out of him. Especially towards the end! And baby brother was just chill–taking in the scenery, took a little nap and then gave us some big smiles.
Thank you M Family! I enjoyed meeting you and your boys. Loved the bunnies (tell your parents thank you, again)!
This is Miss K. She is just a little over a week old now and completely rocked her session. She was slightly awake when I got there, but quickly went to sleep and stayed asleep through outfit changes, set changes, background changes, etc. She was such a joy to photograph–loved it!
See, I told you she was a beautiful and a dream to photograph. Loved it! Thank you for having me out to capture her innocence as a newborn.
I met up with the E Family this past weekend for a family shoot since they haven’t had one in quite a while… The little guy was literally months old when it last happened! I think he might have been just a tad more mobile this time then when he was a wee-one. You might even recognize him if you’ve been following me for a while–he was a baby planner his first year of life! I’m posting a big sneak peek… I loved so many shots and I have to admit, the lighting at this location was a tidbit all over the place due to the various buildings and the sun, but the shots in the water were too cute to not post!
I had the honor of meeting Miss G recently and captured some images of her with her piano for a recital she was putting on… Then, this past weekend we got together for the remainder of her senior shoot. It was perfect if I say so myself… weather, location, subject, yeah, I’d say all the stars were aligned that afternoon. I’m going to let the pictures do the speaking, so here you go…
Isn’t she gorgeous? I love my job (it’s the next best thing to being a wife and mom)!
Only time will tell and not much time left actually… Yay! Meet my newest baby planner! I met up with the C Family this weekend and get in a quick maternity session before the baby bump is revealed. We had fun toddler wrestling (or should I say daddy did) and big sis was quite the little model. We even hunted for lady bugs–found quite a few too!
Fun times! Can’t wait to meet the newest member of the family!
It’s been a while since I posted some pics of my crew… Heck, it’s not often that I even get to take pics of them with the ‘big’ camera now–Seems like I only have time to grab my iPhone lately to snap some pics. Today we ventured out to the Dallas Arboretum as a family (along with 1,564 other people). Ha! It was fun though… Perfect weather!
The whole crew… Wow, I actually have 4 kids now!
They each wanted a turn with baby brother…
I tried to get one more group pic before we left, but the little dude was done at that point… He was ready to crash and that he did once we took off!
I hesitated on posting this sneak peek… It’s the last one of two baby planners for this family. I’ve known this family for almost 3 years and it’s bitter sweet to think that their newest baby is now one! Now, Mr. J and Mr. R–you tell you mommy & daddy that you want to come visit me again soon…
Big brother has a very similar picture! I promise, no babies were hurt in the making of this image.
I love this series… Testing out his cake.
No clue big brother snuck over for a bite of his own…
Hmmm… Maybe if I give him a bite, he won’t tattle on me eating his cake…
Thank you S family… I’ve really enjoyed seeing you all over these past three years. You have two very handsome little men and I’m honored you have allowed me to capture these first few years with them.
What a beautiful location!
