Happy New Year… Oh wait, Happy 1st Birthday! || Baby Photographer, Rockwall, TX

Seriously…  How long has it been since I blogged?  Let’s just say that October – December was a whirlwind…  And I wanted to keep those holiday shoots under wraps so that gifts and cards would be a surprise.  I saw these two during my holiday rush, but I also got to see them again recently to capture a few more shots for their first birthday.  Aren’t they the cutest?!  And such different personalities too!

Sweet baby face… || Newborn Photographer, Dallas, TX

Seriously…  His face was the sweetest thing.  He was already a month old and so mellow–mom begged to differ, but he was a perfect angel for me.  Sweet sleeping pics when I first got there, then some alert pics for us to round out the session.  Mom & Dad wanted some specific shots they had done with big brother, so that was the goal of the day…  Oh and I can’t forget big brother…  I think I have new friend–he was so sweet!  Just chatting with me the whole time.  And to think, he’s not even 3 yet!  Wow!  Such a wise little guy.  Enjoy your sneak peek P Family–I’ll be in touch when the proofs are ready!

Baby It’s Cold Outside || Family Photographer, Rockwall, TX

Finally!  Yes, it was cold outside…  Almost too cold, but we knocked out this session in less than 30 minutes.  Go us!  I’m sure Momma is thinking we didn’t get much of anything, but alas, we got several great shots!  Thank you H Family for enduring those crazy 30+ temps this weekend…  So worth it!

They have the eyes… || Child Photographer, Dallas Arboretum

They have those eyes that are just mesmerizing…  So, so, so blue!  And–those smiles!  We almost thought we weren’t going to get this session on the books due to sick kiddos and crazy weather a few different times.  Well, the wait was worth it!  Smiles, perfect weather and as usual The Arboretum was beautiful!

9 Days New || Newborn Photographer, DFW

Meet Grayson…  All 9 days of him!  He was such a sweet boy and you’d never guess from these pics that he was awake 99% of the time.  LOL!  He just didn’t want to miss anything.  We did some trick shooting though and got it done!  Peacefully sleeping baby.  Enjoyed it R Family–you have a sweet family and I’m honored to have captured little man’s first photoshoot.

The F Family || Child Photographer, Dallas Arboretum

Loved meeting this family…  They were so fun!  And yep, they’re twins, but couldn’t be any more different.  We probably picked the hottest day in October to do Fall pics, but these boys were troopers.  Enjoyed it F Family–hope you love them!

Worth waiting for… || Newborn Photographer, Dallas, TX

I think that is just what this family will say about this little princess…  That she was worth waiting for!  And let me tell you–she was a dream to photograph.  I think I could have stayed all day, but I didn’t want to wear out my welcome.  Congrats B Family–you have been blessed with another beautiful baby girl!

My G Family! || Family Photographer, McKinney, TX

Love meeting up with the G Family!  It wasn’t that long ago and we were celebrating baby bro turning one and now I got to see them for a Fall shoot and big brother turning 4 soon.  And let me say…  He was an awesome model for me!  Hard to believe that he is 3–so cooperative!  I’m dying over baby brother’s hair too. He’s always had awesome hair–seriously–even the first time I met him at his newborn session.  It just gets more and more awesome!  So blonde!

Does it get any cuter than this?? || Family Photographer, Rockwall, TX

Seriously…  This little man was such a cutie!  He was so alert and watching everything going on around us, but gave us sweet smiles when we needed him to!  M Family–thank you so much for having me capture your sweet boy.  Excited that I’ll get to see him again when he turns one!

A breath of fresh air… || Newborn Photography, Rockwall, TX

A new baby…  It’s definitely a breath of fresh air.  So sweet, so new, so beautiful.  I even told mom that my favorite part is when I get to pick them up to situate them to a new position or new prop.  I like to soak that moment in…  New life!
“You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb.”  Psalm 139:13

Congrats S Family…  Miss A is a beautiful blessing from God!
