Perfection || Baby & Family Photographer, Dallas Arboretum

70+ degrees, sun, cool breeze…  In February!  We couldn’t have asked for a better day to do pics outdoors at the Dallas Arboretum.  This time last year (and most years), I think we had ice or snow or something of the sort.  But not this year–it was perfect!  Add the most precious family with the most adorable little girl and I’d say it was success!

Angelic || Newborn Photographer, Dallas, TX

She was an angel for sure…  Swoon–I think I could have held her for days.  So squishy and soft!  Meet Miss H.  I’ve been photographing her cousins for years, so it was an honor when her momma asked me to capture her first year too!  We secretly think she’s going to be a firecracker though…  LOL!  We got all these shots on the white right off the bat and then she made us work for the rest.  She wanted to be awake and see the world–I don’t blame her though!  Sleep is overrated.  Just kidding…  She is a doll baby and seriously, I can’t wait to watch her grown from behind my lens this next year!

All Boy! || Child Photography, Rockwall, TX

He may be all boy, but he is a spitting image of his big sister at this age!  And she is gorgeous…  They have some great genes in this family–that’s for sure!  We opted for an indoor session for little man’s sitting session since we had just done a family one in the fall for the holidays.  It was a nice change and fun to do some little man type shots!  Can’t believe he’ll be one at our next session!

New Life! || Newborn Photography, Dallas, TX

Meet Mr. P!  He is the first baby for two very proud parents.  This little guy was such a trooper too–we tried many setups with him.  A couple milk breaks, a paci here and there, some rocking and he was a pro at this picture thing.  Congrats M Family!  He is a handsome little guy and I can’t wait to watch him grow behind my lens.

Trains Galore! || Baby Photographer, Grapevine, TX

What little boy doesn’t love trains?  I knew as soon as it came time to schedule this little man’s One Year Session where it would be…  I mean, come on, he lives 5 minutes away from the train station!  So jelly!  Would love to live this close to such a great location…  We didn’t even cover half of it either!  Mr. C is a serious one, but we got some cute smiles and expressions out of him. Oh and the cake smash…  We almost thought he wasn’t going to try it, but then he dug in!  Woo-hoo!

What a beautiful day! || Family Photographer, Rockwall, TX

Seriously…  Who ever heard of almost 70 degree temps in mid January?  Sure doesn’t happen often, but we got lucky and had the most beautiful weather!  Definitely made this shoot a fun one while we went all over the park…  Dodging flying golf disc, even!  Hehe…  We survived though!

Can’t believe this little guy is almost one!  Seems like I was just meeting him the other day…  Such a cute little man too–check out those eyes!

Christmas Eve at Lake Pointe Church, Rockwall, TX || Event Photographer

I had the honor this Christmas season of photographing the Christmas Eve Services at Lake Pointe Church in Rockwall–my home church and where I work part-time…  This is probably my most favorite service of the year!

So serious… || Baby Photographer, Rockwall, TX

Miss C was a serious one…  But momma finally figured out a way to make her laugh!  And what a smile she has–so beautiful!
