A blessing for the L Family…

The L Family received an early Christmas present… And with not much notice they found out that Mr. C was going to be coming to their family. I love stories like this! And let me tell you, he was the sweetest thing. Thank you L Family for allowing me to capture the innocence of this new baby in your life.

Enjoyed meeting you Momma L and Baby C! So glad you loved the proofs.

Joy

She had so much joy… She just kept smiling and kept smiling! I caught several on camera and then the majority of them were literally the moment I set my camera down to change the setting. Either way, she was a peaceful baby girl–and so pretty! Big brother seems to be quite smitten by her. I brought along my oldest as my helper and he seemed to take a liking to her. Well, onto the reason you’re here… Pictures!

I absolutely love the emotion in the last one. Don’t you?

It doesn’t get much sweeter than this…

I know I say it all the time, but I do, I really do love newborn sessions. There’s just something about capturing this stage of life, but then there’s the process. I love going to my client’s homes, holding their new babies, posing them, chatting with them about their birth experience, etc. It’s a win-win situation. The saying that children are a blessing from God is true–they really are!

Oh and you probably recognize big brother if you follow the blog… He’s a baby planner graduate!

They don’t have to be posed…

Sometimes my favorite shots are those that just happen… Not the ones where you line everyone up and tell them to smile. Sometimes I love the ones where (like Mr. C) they are just playing and being who they are! He had fun with my ‘stuff’–so much fun that we almost didn’t get put them up and do something different. But that’s okay–like I was saying earlier–these are the sessions that I enjoy just as much.

This one cracks me up!

See! I even had a hard time narrowing them down. I loved so many of them–especially the ones of him playing!

She goes by Boo!

Which is short for Malibu. I probably have the spelling wrong, but she is the new baby of the M Family. And let me tell you, she was so cute! Super playful, but just as sweet as could be.

Once again, another fun photoshoot with the M Family! Can’t wait to see what we do next year!

Another beautiful baby girl…

I always get giddy when a former client has another baby and contacts me… Means so much to me! The Y Family is no exception–and it’s even more fun for me because baby sister is gorgeous! Seriously! See for yourself!

Thank you for sharing your new baby girl with me. I enjoyed catching up with you all and meeting her. You all have been blessed with another beautiful baby!

So pretty!

And so big! I can’t believe that she is 6 months old now. I met this baby girl back at the beginning of summer. It was such a sweet newborn session. And now she is already 6 months old! She brought her fur brother with her to this session too. You might remember her newborn session with him. I’m going to keep most of their pics as a surprise so that their holiday cards are something new for their friends and family to open, but here are a few other ones that I loved!

Whoops! I just realized I didn’t post any of fur brother… I’ll be back later with one! He was taking it all in at the park–there was so much for him to look at!

Sometimes…

“Sometimes being a brother is even better than being a superhero.” ~Marc Brown

I’ve always loved this quote… And after meeting these two brothers, I have a feeling that this is exactly what they both think of each other. They were some of the most loving and kind brothers I’ve met. Such a sweet relationship!

Enjoyed meeting you all! Momma has already seen her pics and I’m so glad that she loved them!

One of the prettiest baby girls…

Seriously… I met her almost two weeks ago and she is absolutely beautiful. Congrats momma! I can’t wait to watch her grow up in front of my lens, but hopefully it doesn’t fly by like all my other baby planners!

Hope you love your sneak peek momma!

Has it really been 3 years?

I met this family about 3 years ago when the littlest one was just about a week old. And now, look at her! Mom warned me that one of the 3 wasn’t really feeling pics this day, but I think we did a great job warming that particular person up to the idea. You can’t even tell who it was, can you?

The leaves were so pretty! Too bad they don’t stay that pretty for long. Enjoyed seeing you all L Family!
