Hudson & Harper || Newborn Portraits, Allen, TX

Meet Hudson and Harper, Miss Lyla’s baby sister and brother.  They came into this world a tad early, so when I met them they were already 8 weeks old…  We did their shoot literally 2 days after they were due!  Since they were a little older, I wasn’t sure if we’d get them all sleepy, but low and behold, we did!  Yay.  We kept the posing simple so that we had a better chance of them sleeping (and sleeping together).  And it worked!  Big sister was a trooper too.  So patient, but couldn’t wait for her chance to shine too.

We even got a smile out of both of them… What are the odds?!

One last one… Future Longhorns!

Thank you T Family for having me out. I enjoyed meeting you and your family. Hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Brand New…

Watch out, this one will make you want another one… Those perfect lips, baby soft skin, seriously he’ll give you baby fever. And I got to hold him, more than once. Yep, favorite part of my job!

Congrats H Family! You have a precious new baby boy to add to your sweet family. Thank you for trusting me to capture your newest member!

Senior 2013!

Believe it or not, it was just last year that I was shooting Mr. G’s sister’s senior session. We chose Deep Ellum for his session… Love all the colors and cool architecture you can find down there. It just happened to be St. Patty’s Day too while we were there, so that was fun see all the ‘green’ outfits!

Good luck, Mr. G! And congrats on finishing school early!

One already!

Seems like each baby plan session comes quicker and quicker… That year just flies by and they’re not even my babies. Sometimes I like to think they’re all my babies though as I watch them grow over the year. It’s even more special when they’re a prior baby planner’s younger sibling and I get to see big brother or sister again (after years of not seeing them). Thankfully this little guy still has one more session since we postponed one of them. Yay!

Happy (belated) birthday big boy!

On the way…

Well, not really… This little one was born almost a week ago! I’m a little behind on the sneak peek with spring break. I actually get to meet the little one that was hiding at this session in just a few days! Cannot wait!

The End. Haha! Just kidding. I loved her cute little legs, so had to capture that!

Lots of love…

This family is full of love… Brothers that love each other, parents that love each other, a family that loves and it shows. We met up a few couple days ago to capture baby brother’s new sitting talent. And big brother just turned two, so we had to get some shots of him. Well, here they are… Enjoy!

Sorry, I got carried away with my fav images. Ha! I’m sure mom doesn’t mind. Thanks again for the fun session–hope you love them!

A rare beautiful February day for a beautiful baby girl…

Sunday after lunch I met up with my cousin and her second baby girl to capture her newest milestone of sitting. My aunt and uncle even joined us. It was the perfect day too considering it was February. Gosh, it wasn’t but a few years ago that it was snowy and icy this time of year. I think the baby girl is going to be getting a tooth very soon… She was working that tongue over those gums!

Enjoyed it! Especially getting to see my family… They were like my second family growing up! ** Oh and for the Arboretum fanatics… Saw lots of potential tulips! Going to be beautiful there in a couple of weeks. Let me know if you want to book a session during Dallas Blooms. I have limited availability!

He’s got the eyes too…

Mr. A has those same big, blue eyes that his big sister has… He’s just as fun as she was at this age too. Love photographing them and I can’t believe that he’ll be one the next time I see him!

Isn’t he a handsome little man? Oh and I have to say, I love going into houses and seeing my work. It means so much to me–I’m blessed to have all of you wonderful clients. And Mr. A’s momma is no exception–walls are covered in pics, pics that I have taken! Thank you, momma for trusting me to capture these memories of your sweet babies.

He may be little…

But this is going to be a BIG sneak peek… I just couldn’t help myself. There were so many great shots from this shoot I couldn’t not share so many! Mr. E is the newest baby planner of mine. This tiny little guy wasn’t even 5 lbs when he was born, but he was healthy as can be for 4 weeks early.

Meet Mr. E!

Isn’t he the most precious thing you have seen lately? Congrats N Family–so happy to capture this stage and the next year with you.

Here she is… A big girl now!

Miss R is ONE! Why do they have to turn one so fast? I can never believe when a baby planner turns one because it always seems like they just had their newborn session. I usually can remember very distinct things about that newborn session like it was yesterday. I love the new phase in their lives though. Miss R as no exception. She was full of smiles, toothy smiles! Almost walking! So much fun! On to the goodies… Lots of goodies too!

Oh and she loved her cake… Or should I say, hot pink icing!
