The sweetest cheeks…

Miss R is 6 months old now! She has changed so much since I last saw her–can’t believe I have to wait a whole 6 more months again before I see her. But, let’s not think about that right now. Back to the matter at hand… Mommy said that she thought she was going to be an engineer because of how she was constantly exploring and using her hands. She made us work for those smiles too! She was so cute with how busy-bee she was…

Love her tongue here!

Thank you M Family!

They change so much…

It’s pretty crazy how much babies change–even from their newborn session to the next one in a baby plan at 4 months old. They’re usually double their weight, awake, smiling, sometimes crying, etc. That’s why I love baby plans… I get to watch them grow up right before my own eyes!

This is Mr. B. His big brother is a baby planner graduate.

He thought it would be funny to block my shot…

Remember the crying comment… Umm, yeah. He did not like having clothes on!

So as you can see, we capture lots of phases for this age! So much fun!

A baby. A new baby. Outside. In the summer.

Yep… Texas is good for one thing. Ha, not really, but still… These warm summers made this all possible. Meet Mr. A. He was just one day shy of 2 weeks old. And slept like a dream. Must have been the 90 degree temps. Loved it! I have now fulfilled my wish to photograph a newborn outdoors and enjoyed every minute of it.

Absolutely exactly what I was hoping for after shooting a newborn outdoors. I wanna do it again! Who’s in? Thank you P Family for sharing your new little man with me. I hope you enjoyed the sneak. There are many more!

Farmer Tan…

And he’s mine! My littlest one (now 11 months) is sporting the farmer tan–definitely a reminder of the fun summer we had. The weather was gorgeous the other night so I grabbed my camera (and a few props) and took advantage of it all. I even got some shots of him with daddy. Score!

We sure do love this little guy… Can’t believe in less than a month he’ll be one!

Introducing…

He should be here in the next couple of weeks, if not sooner! In case you don’t recognize these people, this is my brother and his family. So excited for them! Big Brother B is going to be a big brother and a kindergarten student all in the same month. Exciting times for them… Oh and since they are super, close family, they get a super, big sneak peek!

Can’t wait to meet my new nephew!

Family…

That’s what it’s all about! This marked my 2nd year doing this family’s big session… I’m always honored when people ask me to come back. It means I’m doing my job! And this family is so fun… You might even recognize some of the individual families from the blog. They’ve been featured before–one of them is even on their 2nd baby plan. Yay for baby planners. So on to this session… We braved the heat and met early one Saturday morning and made this session as quick and painless as possible. I even got to capture a little surprise for one of the families!

And drumroll! Congrats again…

Thanks again!

“Say, Cheese!”

Little Miss B was trying to be a tough cookie and not give us any smiles… Then finally she gave us this!

As you can see, we snagged some of big sister, big brother and even the entire family! So hard to believe that another baby planner will be turning one really soon…

Baby Brother!

Mr. F was one of my original baby planners… And now he has a baby brother that is 6 months old (also a baby planner)! We definitely captured his little personality and those sweet dimples. I even got one of big brother–he was being quite shy, I guess he doesn’t remember me taking his pics at literally days old.

So many great ones! I seem to have a problem narrowing them down. Which brings me to a question… Do you like big sneak peeks or do you prefer just a few pics? Are the big ones too many to scroll through or do you love seeing all the many poses and settings we capture in a session? Comment below and let me know!

Baby Bump!

I have another family member due this fall… My cousin is expecting his first with his wife–and it’s a boy! I actually have two other cousins expecting around the same time (they live in FL) and then my brother’s wife is due soon too. So many babies in the family! Okay, so on to the sneak peek… It’s going to be a big one too! It’s summer time, which means sessions slow down and I have more time to do bigger sneak peeks… Haha! Who am I kidding? I have four kids now. I’m actually forgoing sleep right now so that I can share my many favorites from this session.

Whew! So many great shots–and many more where those came from. Oh and wanna know a neat fact? This little guy will share a birthday with my newest little guy if all goes as planned! Congrats D&J… And thank you for this opportunity–enjoyed it!

Little Peanut…

He was such a cute little peanut! Reminds me of two of mine–they were about his size at his age. He was such a good little model, sleeping, eating, sleeping more and no messes… Wait, no messes on my stuff (thank you Mr. H), but he did get mommy. Sorry, mommy! He also has a big fur brother… He’s quite the good brother too–just see for yourself!

Isn’t he the sweetest thing you’ve seen lately? Congrats S Family… He’s precious and I enjoyed meeting him. See you soon!
