This baby girl is definitely a blessing to this family!  She has quite a story that happened before she even arrived and I’m sure her family will laugh for many years to come when telling it.  Let’s just say that she is the perfect addition to this family.  And I’m super stoked that I get to capture her for the next year (and hopefully many more).  You see…  She is baby #3 that I’ve photographed for the C Family.  That is what I call so blessed when clients call you back each baby they welcome into their family.  And I’m honored!

Remember this little man?  It was so cold the first try for his session, that we decided to reshoot with an indoor shoot so we could do some different stuff and a cake smash.  Love how these turned out!  Little guy was still making us work hard for those smiles.  Momma was playing with him, singing the Hot Dog song, everything!  He was so cute though!

Springtime is near! || Family Photographer, McKinney, TX

I just love this location…  Love it!  I haven’t used it but once lately, but every time I go, I’m reminded how much I love going there.  I think I love architecture as much as I love the open fields and tall grass.  This family made it even better!  Mr. J is turning 5 this month, so we were celebrating this latest birthday.  I’m sure you recognize them–he’s been on the blog many, many times.  Since he was in his momma’s tummy, even!

Still a newborn!! || Baby Photography, Dallas, TX

I have to be honest…  You never know what to expect when you have a newborn session and the baby is over 2 weeks old.  I do have to say though, that God has given me this patience and dare I say, ability to do a newborn session, no matter what age, and the baby sleeps.  Some may not sleep much, but they’ve at least all slept at least some.  Well, Miss C was no exception…  She was two days shy of 2 months old!  And she slept so well.  I have a few tricks up my sleeve and thankfully they worked!

Seriously one of my favorite ages to photograph!  They are always so smiley at this age…  Add in opening day of Dallas Blooms at Dallas Arboretum and we scored big time.  Lots of smiles, pretty flowers and as usual great architecture!

Miss K is just that… A beautiful baby girl! I think all babies are adorable, but her little face was so pretty! And she slept so well. Letting us pose her, move her from prop to prop and put all the little headbands and hats on her!

Mr. L was quite a hoot this past weekend at his 2 year shoot.  We still managed to capture some pretty cute shots of him though.  Big brother did great–smiling when he was supposed to.  Crazy that I have photographed him since he was a newborn–well, both boys!  They just grow so fast.

Sweet One Year Old! || Child & Family Photographer, Rockwall, TX

Well, the weather turned out to not be what they said…  We do live in Texas though!  It was quite a bit more chilly than we thought it was going to be, but we went ahead and tried to work fast.  Mr. K just wasn’t too sure!  We got a few cute ones, but I know there are some bigger smiles in there, so stay tuned, he may be back for some more shots.  Plus we gotta do a cake smash!  Here are some of my favs that we did capture…

He’ll be one before we know it! || Baby Photographer, Rockwall, TX

Seriously! Where does that first year go? I promise you that this little guy was just a newborn yesterday! And we already have his one year session on the calendar. It can’t be happening that fast! He’s looking more and more like his big brother too… He’s a former baby planner graduate. Love my repeat clients!

I’m so glad that we got this session done! Between holidays, sickness and crazy weather we ended up doing an indoor session–which I hadn’t done this age in quite a while and love how it turned out. Just simple and sweet 9 month old fun!
