Eek! Make a mistake…

As you’ll see from my note in the post below, something went wonky when I posted the pics after using Raw. I’ve fixed the pics (well 2 of the 3–I’ll fix the other later), so go check them out!

Because I did this fast, I didn’t add the black border I usually put on my images for the web. What do you think? Sometimes I like the border because it frames the image, but sometimes I think it distracts from the image. Maybe I should do a smaller border? More white? Hmmm…

I’ve learned that Nikon (which is what I use) shoots with black undertones, therefore black is an accent color for their images. And Canon is the opposite with white.

So, looking at the updated pics below, what do you like best? Black border, no border, or a new border that isn’t so big/bold?

Thanks! And don’t be a stranger… Let me know you looked at what you honestly think!

At first I liked the border pretty well, but now I think I like either a smaller border or no border at all. I think it depends on what is behind the picture with the border. For example on the top of my blog I have the babies in the baskets. I wish it didn’t have the black border b/c it really stands out and doesn’t really go with the color theme of my blog. Maybe you can put your logo on there for me without the frame??? I do like the frame though but like I said, for some pics and not for some. I think if you keep the frame, do a smaller one and maybe do white and black – mix it up. Also, reminds me I need to get my order together!

My bad…after looking at my blog again, I remembered the background is black, so the black frame isn’t that big a deal but if the background were say white or some other color, it would take away from the picture with the bold black frame. Make sense?

I agree… That’s been my thoughts. I think I might try making a smaller one that isn’t so bold.

Oh and I can definitely send you another one without it. I can even make it more rectangle so it’ll go at the top better. I’ll send you one later once I place a client order and do some ad work.

Excellent use of the word “wonky” … a fav among my fellow geeky programmers.
