I’ve known Mrs. L for many years, but haven’t seen her in 10! I was so excited when she contacted me to capture a session for her family. Thankful for Facebook in this aspect… Fun to catch up after all these years. They recently suffered some damage from the hail storm this spring, but we still went through with the session even though they were in the midst of repairs… So glad! Weather was perfect and the setting was wonderful.
Going to try to go back and blog some sessions I missed in the past… There have been so many, hopefully I don’t miss any! This is sweet Ethan… He was a gentleman and so sleepy. Mom had some great ideas of how she wanted to capture him as a tiny newborn and they turned out great. He’s one of my newest baby planners, so stay tuned for his sitting session!
I have got to start blogging more regularly again! I love sharing all these shoots with you guys, but end of school is always so busy. I’ll have to backtrack and share all the shots before this one!
The forecast kept saying rain and it even started to rain on our way, but we pushed through and I’m so happy… What a gorgeous family that I got to photograph in Deep Ellum recently. Little Man was turning 1 soon, so momma wanted to capture that and some family stuff too. I think we an successfully say we accomplished that! So many great shots, so I had to share!
It was a rare spring day that had a chill in the air, but in the long run it turned out to be a beautiful day. Little man has the darkest hair and the more gorgeous eyes. He’s sitting now and it happens to be one of my favorite milestones to capture. All in all we had a great session!
So before I get to how great this family looked when they showed up for their session, just wait until you see Miss E’s birthday cake. It was so pretty and huge! But, as I was saying, loved their outfits. They coordinated so well and looked great with the location we chose! Just see for yourself… Oh and I have to say it’s bittersweet because this was the last session in our baby plan for Miss E. I look forward to still seeing them as they grow though even though both are now graduates of the plan!
Beautiful location and even more beautiful babies! Baby sister is the 3rd baby planner for me in this family and I’m just so blessed to have captured all these memories for them. Can’t believe she will be one soon!
“Having a brother is even better than being a Superhero!” author unknown
One of my favorite quotes as a mom of two boys and it’s so true. Even with a 4 year gap, mine love each other so much and play all the time. That is my hope for these two guys–that they have a love for each other that is even greater than being a superhero. I think they’re off to a great start!
Sweet little Baby C… He was taking it all in at our session. So much to look at! Just wait until you see those big blue eyes of his! Oh and his sweet little bald head–reminds me of my 2nd. Can’t wait until our next session, it’ll be here before we know it and he’ll be sitting like a big boy!
Pink & Gold–that was the theme for little Miss’s 1st birthday. Her outfit was Adorable with a capital A! We had fun–she’s was just toddling around, smiling and then the cake was a blast. I’ve never had a Nothing Bundt Cake Smash, but it was perfect… Her favorite flavor–lemon! It was great meeting you Momma H… You have a precious daughter and I look forward to seeing you all again!
I met this sweet family not too long ago, but every time we get together it’s like we’ve known each other forever! Always loads of fun and chatting. Can’t believe her little M is one now! And big brother is 2… Time is flying.
