Two Beautiful Baby Girls || Newborn Photographer, Plano, TX

These two made quite the entrance for their family…  Keeping momma in the hospital for 3 months before their arrival and then coming sooner than expected.  After a brief stay (that probably felt like forever) in the NICU, they were finally headed home to their new house.  We did their session a day before they turned 1 month old and managed to still pull off several sleeping, newborn poses.  Perfection!  Congrats R Family–can’t wait to capture the girls’ first year for you!

Baby Jacob || Newborn Photographer, Mesquite, TX

This past weekend, I had the joy of meeting one of my former baby planner’s baby brother.  Meet Baby Jacob!  He is such a sweet baby and looks very different than his brother.  I love that each of them look like either parent–even down to their skin tone.  We were able to do several setups in between feeding and while at first he didn’t want to sleep, we managed to get him to drift off to sleepy-town for us to get some great shots.  Loving so many of these.  Congrats guys–he is so handsome!

Rainbow Baby || Newborn Photographer, Rockwall, TX

A “rainbow baby” is a baby that is born following a miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death or infant loss. In the real world, a beautiful and bright rainbow follows a storm and gives hope of things getting better. The rainbow is more appreciated having just experienced the storm in comparison.  And this is what this “Little Miss” is…  A rainbow after the storm!  Such a blessing.

Baby J is what they call her and she was such the smiley baby.  I caught a few of those great smiles too.  She has a beautiful big sister that is just elated for her to be a part of their family.  Congrats, guys–thank you for letting me capture your beautiful family and new blessing!

Oh and loving my new floral tiebacks from Isla Jane and rainbow tie back from a friend!

Expecting || Maternity Photographer, Rockwall, TX

I know, I know…  It’s been a while since I blogged, but the fall season does that to you.  Partly because you’re trying to keep all those fun family sessions a secret for the holiday cards, but also because you’re so covered up in shooting and editing that there isn’t much time for anything extra.  I can definitely say that I’ve been blessed every time that season comes around and I owe it all to you guys.

Christmas was a great break for me–much needed downtime with my family!  But now it’s a new year…  2017!  Ready for whatever is sent my way.

I recently met up with a sweet family who is about to welcome their 2nd baby boy to the family.  It was a cold one, but we bundled up and got some great shots.  I’m loving how these turned out and there are so many more!  Can’t wait to meet this little one…  Not much longer!

A Surro Story // Birth Photography, Dallas, TX

So I recently got the amazing experience of photographing a birth…  But it wasn’t just any birth–it was a birth of not just one, but two babies that were carried by a friend of mine for a momma that couldn’t carry them.  Yep, she was a surrogate mother for twins!  And everything worked out to where I could be there for their birth.  To capture their entrance into this world and the expression on their new mom’s face.  And as I said before, it was just that…  Amazing.  She delivered in the OR just in case they needed to do a c-section, but everything went as planned.  Twins born into this world in less than 22 minutes, 2 pushes each, 2 minutes apart.  Baby B did go to the NICU for a little bit, but was doing well the next day and only on oxygen.  Oh and I was able to capture all of this on my ‘lunch break’ one day last week.  So honored and blessed to have been a part.

Sitting So Big! || Family Photographer, Royse City, TX

Earlier this summer, I got to meet up with the S Family!  It was time for baby brother’s sitting session.  Isn’t he just the cutest thing?  I think sitting sessions are so fun…  Especially with such a smiley baby.  Big sister loves him so much too!  Hard to believe she was a baby planner of mine several years ago!

Family || Family Photographer, Rockwall, TX

Absolutely love shooting downtown Rockwall and absolutely love the M Family…  I met them years ago when the ‘twins’ were just itty bitty and now look at them!  Gosh, when these kiddos grow older, it sure makes me feel old too, but still love seeing them grow–especially behind my lens.  This time they brought more family with them–all the way from California too!  Thank you, M Family!  Enjoyed it!

Complete || Newborn Photographer, Forney, TX

I think momma would say that her family is now complete…  3 of the most handsome boys and now a beautiful baby girl for them to protect and love on.  We started with some fun and girlie stuff for Miss M and then followed up with her brothers and family.  Such an enjoyable session!  Love getting my baby fix–I think I’m about due for another baby session!

Baby Brother || Lifestyle Newborn Photographer, Dallas, TX

I was so excited to get the message from this momma asking if I had availability to capture their newest family member… I photographed big brother several years ago and it’s always the biggest compliment to be asked to come back.  Meet Mr. E and his family!  We kept things really natural just using their home–probably one of the fastest newborn sessions for me.  Here he is!

Pretty in Pink || Baby Photographer, Harry Myers Park, Rockwall, TX

Just wait until you see this sweet sugar!  She tried to make me think she was going to be shy, but just a few minutes in and she was cheesing!  How adorable is her little smile?  She was a doll in her little dress…  Such a fun session!
